Another January Beauty Haul

So, payday has come which meant that I could stock up on skincare products as I am under a makeup ban until my Korea trip. So, I ordered some products online (as usual) and I got both packages yesterday and today.

Innisfree Green Tea Seed Serum
Innisfree White Tone Up Skin
Skinfood Black Sugar Honey Mask Wash Off

I got the serum off BeautyMNL since they restocked, as a backup, thus this means I'm about to be on my second bottle of the Innisfree serum once I've run out because surprisingly, the bottle lasted me a long time, a month almost.

The other two, I got off Kimchi Jib, complete with Innisfree samples + the Etude House sample as well.

I'll post a review for each once I've done my skincare routine post.

What's New In K-Beauty

So for a while, I was thinking of making a post where I give you all lovely readers of mine some information on what's new in the world of Korean makeup, specifically the makeup brands that we have either tried, are trying out, and are wanting to try. So far, I've gathered some information on the new releases some of the big makeup brands have. Warning: lengthy post ahead, haha.

Etude House

To celebrate the Year of the Monkey, Etude House has come out with a line of eyeshadows from their "Look at My Eyes" range called the Wish Monkey Eyes. The packaging is the same, but they have a cute drawing of a monkey on the lid which is also embossed on the shadows themselves.

Apart from that, they also have a Big Cover line. What's their Big Cover line? From what I can see, it's a line of concealers! That supposedly give good coverage. Apart from the usual tip concealers that they have, two of which are the same but are also quite different, they also have a cushion c…

Where To Buy Online

Since I am currently on a makeup ban and on a skincare spree, I might not have much products to try out and review at the moment, but! A friend of mine advised me to make a list of online shops where you can try out Korean makeup and skincare, most especially if you're new to the wonderful world of K-beauty. Below, I've listed several online shops, which I may or may not have tried yet, that ship worldwide, as well as the online shops within the Philippines, for those of you who are from the PH, and including a K-beauty brand which does worldwide shipping.

Oh, and I may do a post about what's new in the world of K-beauty (or at least the new stuff I could find) in the coming days as work is a little loose this week.

International online shops:

ibuybeauti - Free shipping over $50 and there's the option to have it shipped via k-packet. K-Packet is faster than registered mail, but not as fast as EMS. Plus, with every purchase, they give you free samples of things.

Banila Co. Cushion Gel Eyeliner & Eye Love Cushion 3D Brow Review

And now for another review from yours truly. I've decided to do a review of two products in one post, to make it a little easier + the two of them are basically the same. The Banila Co. Cushion Gel Eyeliner and the Eye Love Cushion 3D Brow gel. I got both of them for Php 720 each off beautymnl. My review for the former has also been published as a top review for the week too! Lemme share a screenie:

But anyway, I thought I'd share a more detailed review of that + the brow gel. Anyway, as you may have noticed, cushions/cushion products seem to be the trend lately. Since the rise of the bb cushion/cushion foundation, brands are starting to apply this same concept on other products, and even Western brands like Lancome and L'oreal have come out with their own cushion foundations as well. IOPE's got a cushion blush, Laneige has a cushion highlighter and concealer, Etude House has also recently come out with a cushion concealer, and now Banila Co. (along with Hera, another …

Banila Co. Clean it Zero Purity Review

By the request of a friend of mine, this may not be in my latest haul, but it was part of my Christmas haul, as I was shopping for gifts for my sister, my mom and my friends. I bought this off beautymnl as well, for about Php 1,000. The Banila Co. Clean it Zero Purity cleansing balm. This is a version of their best-selling Clean it Zero cleansing balm, but this is for those with sensitive skin. If you want to go ahead and try this out, I suggest going with this kind before getting to the regular one.

Cleansing balms are, balms. To put it simply, it's like cleansing oil that's turned into a balm type, which means it can remove your makeup and all that.

This is basically what it looks like, a tub with 100mL of product. It's made out of really durable plastic which makes it great to have when you travel. But if you find it bulky, you can always transfer some of the product to smaller containers.

There's a spatula included, for hygiene purposes. As you can see I've pre…

Banila Co. Tinted Love Glow Tint Review

Hello everyone!

As promised, I'd do a review for everything that I've gotten in my beauty haul in the previous post. I was also teetering between two options as to how I would be doing my reviews for the products I would buy and try at the same time. For now, here's a bit of a review for the Banila Co. Tinted Love Glow Tint. With photos! Well, a few photos.

So, this is just one of the lip products that Banila Co. has. I purchased this off beautymnl for Php 575. For those who reside in the Metro Manila area, Banila Co. has already opened their first ever store here! Check them out at Glorietta 4.

So anyway, this tint is supposed to be hydrating but at the same time super pigmented.

So, here it is. The packaging is a sleek silver, with a little peek-a-boo of the shade. I got mine in #03 Fall in Pink, which is a peachy pink shade. I usually buy either reds or pinks but not a peachy pink, so this is something new for me. It's hard to take a good photo of this since the pac…

First Beauty Haul Of 2016!

We're 6 days into 2016 already and I have a little, yes, teeny tiny beauty haul to post my first ever post for this blog! I've sort of been unsure on whether or not I want to have a blog like this, but as I did some more thinking, it does seem like doing this was me taking the plunge into doing something I actually like. At the end of December, I ordered some products online and I thought I would share it.

Laneige Pore Deep Cleansing Foam  Banila Co. Triple Wonder Auto Gel Liner (deep black)  Banila Co. Eye Love Cushion 3D Brow (gray brown) Banila Co. Cushion Gel Eyeliner (brown) Banila Co. Tinted Love Glow Tint (fall in pink)
I got these items off beautyMNL - a site, for us beauty junkies that ship in the country. It takes up to 3 days if you live in the Metro Manila area, and 5 to 7 days if you're in the provinces or just mainly outside. I'm not sure whether it is still on going, but if you go on to the site and purchase something, you have a free coupon for a Lancome Ge…
