IOPE Air Cushion Review

Like I promised earlier, I thought I would do a little review on a popular cushion foundation: the IOPE Air Cushion. I got this off AltheaPH. Comparing the price to this with the Hera UV Mist cushion on the site, this was the cheaper one, and also the most talked about one so I thought of picking it up, and now I finally got my hands on one.

IOPE comes from Amore Pacific, the company responsible for a lot of different Korean beauty brands as well, like Laneige, Innisfree, etc. For those of you who also have the Laneige BB Cushion, you'll find that the packaging is very similar, as well as the method of replacing the foundation with the refills.

The all too familiar box (I basically heard choirs of angels singing when I saw this in the box, lol).

Compared to the Laneige BB Cushion, the IOPE cushion is a little more flat and slightly wider.

Standard cushion foundation, with a sticker on top to keep the foundation..fresh? And it also comes with a refill. I got the Natural version, th…

End Of March Beauty Haul!

It's been a while since I did a haul post, mostly because I was trying not to order some makeup before my trip to Korea in September. However, after much thought, I am now trying to simplify my shopping list, seeing as online shopping (especially on other international online shops) has gotten easier on our end in terms of post and customs. So, after a good experience ordering from Althea the first time, for my March payday, I ordered from the site again and got some items! I'll post a photo, and in the upcoming posts, I will be doing a review especially with one of them which I have already taken photos of. Hurrah! But for now, some short and general impressions will do.

IOPE Air Cushion (Natural) - I finally got my hands on Korea's best selling cushion. Will be up for review in my next post!
Etude House Big Cover Concealer Cushion (Illuminate) - I also got my hands on one of Etude House's latest releases. It can be an affordable alternative of sorts of the Espoir Ins…

Another What's New In K-Beauty 2016

It can be hard to keep up with the trends in the beauty community, mostly because the brands continuously release new products or new additions to their usual ranges as well. So, I've gathered some info on what some brands are releasing as while the seasons change, so do the makeup trends.

Innisfree
They have posted on their official instagram about their newest product, the Jeju Lava Seawater Essence, which I could only assume would be part of a line (because Innisfree's like that). More information would hopefully be released soon.

EDIT: After some researching, this is part of their Jeju Lava Seawater line, that includes not only an essence, skin, lotion, and cream, but there is also a deep essence, eye serum, ampoule skin, and intensive ampoule. This line is designed for rich moisturization and anti-aging effects, including smoothening out of wrinkles, and all that.

Espoir:  In the previous What's New post I did, I mentioned that they released their Chess X Peace line, …

Banila Co White Wedding Dream Cream Review

So, I have finally gotten my hands on Banila Co's most buzzed about whitening makeup cream. You can't imagine how excited I was when this came in the mail because I've been reading (and ahem, re-reading) all the good things about this cream when I ordered it. I got it off BeautyMNL (you can go ahead and check my masterlist on where to buy in my previous posts) for Php 1,345.00 but for those of us who live in the Metro Manila area, you can check out their store in Landmark-Trinoma or the 4th floor of Glorietta 4 in Makati.

So, let us get started!!

The White Wedding Dream Cream is a whitening, moisturizing, brightening, makeup cream that makes skin look radiant, like a bride's on her wedding day. Before anything else, knowing that the climate in the Philippines, or in Manila for that matter, is often hot and humid, so anything that just says 'glowy' or 'brightening' tends to look oily on the skin. The weather isn't good for us combi-skinned girls and …
