Short Reviews # 5

So I'm just doing this thing, where I'm still currently trying to figure out how to go about the posts in this blog, because, depending on how I feel at the moment or at the time, it could either be as short and quick as this review post that I'm about to put up, or it could be a picture-laden one. For now, I'm set on reviewing skincare like this, and the makeup gets picture-laden reviews. There isn't much to review at the moment, because real-life stuff gets in the way.

Laneige All-Day Anti-Pollution Defensor
At first, I liked it, then I thought it broke me out, so I put it off, but then when I tried it again, I realized that it didn't break me out after all. It's a good serum to have. I currently use this as my moisturizer as the moisturizers that I actually have are a little too thick for my face, except for the Banila Co. Dream Cream. This also has SPF, which is a plus, and it hydrates my face. The only con to this is that the smell is a little strong, b…

Cosrx Make Me Lovely Cushion Review

So, I am back with another product review, and this time, it's for the Cosrx Make Me Lovely Cushion! I've mentioned this in a 'what's new' post before and I was so glad that BeautyMNL finally has this in stock since they're the site I go to for my Cosrx fix.

I purchased this for Php 1,000 - fairly cheaper than most cushions that I know of, but a teeny bit more expensive compared to the Innisfree ones (from what I know of). So, let us begin!

So, there's the box. It doesn't come with a refill, which is probably why it is a little cheaper. Hopefully Cosrx does think of putting out separate refills for this. It also comes in only one shade, so it goes without saying that it's the cushion form of the Make Me Lovely Cream.

Laneige BB Cushion Pore Control (2016 Edition) Review!

The moment I saw Jen Kim (meejmuse on youtube) snapchat her attendance at the Laneige party and saw a glimpse of their new and improved bb cushions, I knew I had to get it.

For months, I've been constantly checking other online stores to see if it was in stock, hoping that I'd get one that is my exact shade because the one I have is 2 shades lighter than me. While they were in stock, my shade was ALWAYS getting sold out, so of course I was bummed, haha.

But since I got the chance to do one of my last hurrah hauls, I figured, why not buy it already, right? I inquired in a local online shop and they said they had it, and it was the last in stock, so naturally I got my hands on it and I legit squealed in my room when it arrived and when I finally had it.

Of course, by the title, you know I'm talking about the new Laneige BB Cushion Pore Control, which I will now be reviewing!

So, there are many things that have changed in this cushion: I think they changed up the formula a lit…

August Collective Payday Haul!

It's August, which also means it's time for a new monthly haul, which I also have of course. This haul is another collective haul, some of the products I've purchased over the days or since payday arrived. Two of these hauls, I've ordered online, from BeautyMNL and from Dara Beauty Market.

I order from BeautyMNL so much, I may as well have a loyalty card, haha. But that's the thing about having a local online shop that also has Korean skincare products AND ships with 24-48 hours.

I might post up a review of one of these products soon, the moment I finish this post, haha.

My payday haul:

Biore Cleansing Oil - Okay, again, not a Korean brand, but Biore has been stepping up it's game with me lately. As the Banila Co. Clean it Zero balm is a little steep for me (especially lately because I need to save up), I figured to go for cheaper alternatives. I've tried this out twice so far and it's amazing.
Cosrx AHA/BHA Clarifying Treatment Toner - Need I say more?…
