What's New in K-Beauty 5.5

I was supposed to put this up a few weeks ago, but real life stuff got in the way. I just started a new job and I'm still on the learning curve where I'm just having a hard time so I just got around to doing this now.

So, summer is over and fall has begun, which means new products for the fall and winter lines in the K-beauty scene. The products I'll be mentioning are new and have been around just over the past weeks so they're not technically new, but they are recent (and new to me too, just putting it out there).

Espoir:

They came out with the Gentle Aura line just a week or two ago, but this is their newest topping powder (I'm going to assume it's called the Pro Tailor Topping Powder or something like that) and it comes in three variants: Tone Up, Strobe, and No Sebum.

If you're not familiar with the whole concept of "topping," it's just what they call mixing your powder into your foundation or something like that. This goes best with the brand's new Pro Tailor Essence Compact: Sprinkle some on the foundation itself and use the brush to mix it together before applying it on your face.

Holika Holika:

The brand has expanded their Gudetama collection and brought in the Gudetama collection versions of their cotton pact and loose powder! They also added in their 3-step pore strips too. These are so cute, I cry.

Pony Effect:

Even Pony's line has branched out into having a range of nail polishes. With her signature rose gold packaging and in different colors.

Etude House:

These are just some of the new stuff Etude House has come out with. The classic Dear Darling tint has become the Dear Darling Gel Tint! And those who like their brows on fleek will love Etude House's Eye Brow Contouring Multi-Pencil. It's similar to Innisfree's brow master and the Jung Saem Mool Beauty one. It has the auto-pencil, a lighter toned shader and a mascara in one.

They also just released another kind of bb cushion called the Any Cushion Cream Filter. It's supposed to make your skin look moist and sort of like what their Beauty Shot Face Blur cream does. Oh, and the short commercials feature Ma Dongseok. You guys know him from  Train to Busan. haha.

Tony Moly:

Etude House has Nemo and Dumbo, It's Skin has Sesame Street, Missha has the Minions, A'Pieu has Rilakkuma, Holika Holika has Gudetama, and now Tony Moly has Pokemon! The puffs in the Pokemon cushions are of the pokeballs too.

Innisfree:

Just like their summer lines, they have launched their 2016 F/W line with shades of their Real Fit Creamy lipstick, nail polishes, eyeshadow palettes and the blusher/highlighter duo. For the blusher/highlighter duo, you can combine the two and get a gorgeous flush of color + sheen.

Laneige:

Every makeup brand has their own mists, and the usual mist is more of a watery type than a milky type kind of mist. Laneige has come out with their Water Bank Creamist. A similar mist I can compare this with is the Pixi Milky Mist.

VDL:

Something adorable this way comes, in VDL's case anyway. They launched their macaron mini BB cushion. I'm curious as to how they meant by mini, because if that meant a smaller version of their usual cushions then it would be interesting.

Lirikos:

Not many people outside Korea know about this brand. This is one of the higher end brands (like forreals, the Lirikos cushions sold on Kpoptown are crazy expensive) and they have their Clarifying Glow Cushion, infused with their famous marine ampoules.
