What's New in K-Beauty 6.0
As I promised in the previous post, I will be doing another round of 'What's New' in K-Beauty posts. Summer is over and fall is here which also means the makeup looks have transitioned from vibrant hues and waterproof makeup to dark and vampy lips and eyes. There are some people who still prefer to wear bright colors in the fall though, not that there's a fall season here in the PH but you get the idea.
Anyway, I will be keeping you guys updated on what is new to me in this world of K-beauty that does not stop for anyone, and as you might have noticed I've changed the layout of my blog yet again. The main background image is one of those downloadable wallpapers from BeneFit so, just putting it out there. So let us begin!
Espoir is launching their Moody Bloody line for their F/W season. It has a specially packaged version of their Pro Tailor Cushion EX along with specially packaged single eyeshadows, nail polish and perfume. The shadows and nail polish, along with maybe even the lipsticks and their Ultimate Feather mascara, have new colors, most probably new shades of red and burgundy. There's a pre-sale going on online that just started yesterday I think, until the launch on the 14th.
They recently launched their Oil Shine Stick and now it's followed by their True Color Lipstick and High Cover Liquid Foundation. Their True Color Lipstick has a total of 19 shades and have both satin and matte finishes. Their High Color Liquid Foundation is a lightweight foundation that has high coverage and is available in their standard 3 shades.
For Etude House, they have their Dear My Enamel Lips Talk lipsticks and Dear My Enamel Eyes. Their Dear My Enamel Eyes eyeshadows already have colors that are similar to their original line though, from the swatches I'm seeing.
Hera is collaborating with Eric Girat for a special line that includes an eyeshadow palette with neutrals and a little pastel blue, along with a blusher (that reminds me of Charlotte Tillbury's cheek to chic blusher), as well as very cute specially packaged lipsticks and perhaps a mascara/eyeliner.
Belif has their Moisture Bomb Cushion. As the name implies, it's a very moisturizing cushion foundation that has the DNA of their Moisture Bomb. For those of us with dry skins, then this would be a great cushion to have.
Clio has their instant skin corrector. This might be either a color correcting concealer or makeup base.
A'Pieu has something new in terms of fragrance! These tiny tubes of fragrances might be those roller ball perfumes, judging by the packaging. It comes in a few variations from violet to peony to rose, jasmine and freesia.
They have their Iced Time line, which includes this Iced Time Firming Oil Ampoule.
They have their Tattoo Lip Tint Pack, which I'm guessing is similar to the Berrisom Lip Tint Pack where you put some on then wait for it to set before peeling it off.
They've added more shades to their nail polish collection!
As for VDL, they came out with their Expert Color Eye Book Mono shadows. It's fairly bigger than their Festival Eyeshadows so it means more pigment in the pan.
