My Current Skincare Routine/Skincare Items I'm Using At the Moment

I feel like it's about time for me to post my current skincare routine. Honestly, my routine has barely changed over the time I started having a skincare routine. I'm sort of trying to streamline my routine to several items (kinda like a cross between the laid-back Parisian way of skincare and the very meticulous Korean skincare routine) while changing up the specific products that I use for my skin.

If you're pretty new to the whole skincare routine, I do advise you to take into consideration  the climate or the time of year because seasons change and so does what we need to put on our faces. If you're living in a country where it's hot, humid, and rainy all year round like me, then you might find some inspiration on where to start in my current routine now.

On days where I wear makeup, I do a double cleanse. I use my L'Oreal Micellar Water to remove traces of my makeup first. I've actually been looking for cheap but effective makeup removers lately and th…

Attempted Look: Glittery Taupe and Bronze

Now that I have a lot more time at least for now, I figured I'd show everyone another look. This look uses some glitter and shimmer but is also pretty wearable. Since contouring is not my cup of tea, strobing is the way to go! But as always, feel free to add a few more steps to this if you want.

Etude House Play 101 Blending Pencils

Bless Etude House for stepping up their makeup game lately, well not lately but they just keep coming out with really good products that I want to get my hands on. Honestly, I kind of fell out of love with the brand for some time, but I always went back because I love their eyeshadows and eyeliners...their eye makeup in general. But, when I saw that they launched these babies months ago, I knew I had to have it.

Hurrah because Etude House here in the Philippines now has it, although the MoA branch pretty much took out like 98% of the Play 101 Pencils as a consequence.

So, following the Play 101 Pencils and the Play 101 Sticks are these wonderful suckers. Think of the Play 101 pencils, but as the name implies, much more blendable and creamy. These are Php 478 each and I got the shades 11 and 12. They have about 22 shades in total and yes, they are also multi-use.

Shade 11 is a more coppery kind of rose gold or something like that, while 12 is a gorgeous bronze. Sorry, I'm not good …

January Haul!

Now we're already into 2017! And it is that time of the year again for me, to make some purchases and I can hear my bank account crying once again. I've picked up a number of things, a number of which are makeup but most are actually...sheet masks! Since I'm already set on my skincare as I have that humongous Laneige toner and emulsion.

I went to the nearest Etude House and ordered some off Dara Beauty Market (see my "where to buy" tag for the post)

Etude House Play 101 Blending Pencils #11 and #12 - One of the makeup goals I hope to achieve this year is to collect a whole line of something. I guess the blending pencils would have to be it. I've been eyeing these and I was so glad these are available in the Philippines already, including the Any Cushion Cream Filter. It's only a matter of time before the Missha counters have the Tension Pacts on display... fingers crossed!
