Attempted Look: Winged Liner With a Pop of Navy Blue!

So it has been a while since I made another look to share with everyone, but here I am because I figured a new post would be in order. I'm still trying to update this blog more often, at least every week, and real-life stuff just got in the way. No matter! This look is something a lot of people can do and can probably wear on the daily. It's all on the eye makeup, babies! A cat eye with some navy blue on the lower lashline amps up the whole look. Paired with a pink lip and the look is complete!

How-To:

As usual, add or subtract any step if you prefer, and if your eyeshadow tends to have some fallout, do your eye makeup first before your base.

  1. Do your base as usual. I opted for a lightweight foundation that has a matte finish. I've been using the Holika Holika Waterdrop Tinted Foundation a lot more because I like how light it is. I also concealed some of my blemishes with the Aritaum All Day Lasting Tip Concealer.
  2. Let's go strobing! With a liquid-type highlighter or illuminating concealer, apply some on the high points of your face; cheekbones, browbones, the arch of the brows, the nose bridge, cupid's bow, and chin.
  3. Fill in the brows, making sure they look as natural as possible.
  4. Prime your eyes first, and apply an eyeshadow that's the same color as your skintone.
  5. With a liquid, pen, or brush liner, line your eyes and extend it into a wing.
  6. With a navy blue shadow or liner, line your lower lash line, connecting it to the eyeliner.
  7. Line your lower waterline with a black pencil liner.
  8. With a little flush of color on the cheeks, put on some peachy coral blush.
  9. Apply a light pink, or a nude-pink lip tint and voila!
