Unfortunately, I don't think I will be able to post some content here for the time being as outside events have me in a tight spot financially. Hopefully, I will be able to post some content as soon as possible, but for now, I will have to say... see you soon.

New Year, New Skincare Routine

If there's one thing you might notice in this blog, it's that I don't do a lot of skincare reviews. I think it's mostly because I really have to see whether or not I can come up with the words to make a review on a skincare product compared to when I do with makeup. But as I am now presenting you readers with a look into my skincare routine, I figured this is where I could write down my thoughts. I do have to warn you that this is nearly the same routine/products I used last year. haha. So let's get started.

Makeup remover: The Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water. Like I said in a previous skincare routine reveal, as I want to save a few bucks on makeup removers, I reach for the ones at the drugstore, a.k.a micellar cleansing waters or just regular cleansing wipes that help take off makeup. This is my second bottle of the stuff. I really like it. It's gentle enough not to sting the eyes, but it's effective enough to get rid of my eye makeup.
Foam cleanser: Pon…

Attempted Look: KARD Somin "You in Me" Music Bank/Music Core Performance

As requested by my sister, I did a rather dark look inspired by KARD Somin's look in their "You in Me" performances. Her look is pretty dark and sinister (since the song and the music video itself is pretty dark and sinister) with intense smoky eyes and dark red lips. I tried my best, and this is also where my inability to put on lipstick comes in (forreals, I don't know how to put on lipstick).

Peripera Nose Up Shading Highlighter + Speedy Browcara Thoughts

Continuing with my reviews of sorts, the second half of the year-end haul is here. The Peripera Nose Up Shading Highlighter and the Speedy Browcara. Peripera's sort of like a sister brand to Clio, because their products could also be found at a Club Clio boutique or kiosk at the department stores.

Starting off with the Nose Up Shading Highlighter. I got this from BeautyMNL for Php 550 and it comes in two shades: Pink and Gold. I got the pink one because the gold is more suited for darker skin tones and I'm pretty fair. It's got a sponge applicator and you'll have to click a few times for the product to come out as well, like the Water Grip Brightener in the previous post.

I did one swatch on my hand and I do notice glitter particles in the formula. Those who don't like glitter in their base makeup might not like this highlighter. You also have to apply some pressure when you swatch this, but I fear that it might disrupt the foundation that you have on, and when I t…

Clio Nudism Water Grip Brightener & Virgin Kiss Silkuid Lip Swatch and Thoughts

Starting off the year with some new products to share my thoughts on. It was part of the end of the year haul that I did and I've done some testing with these products, perhaps enough testing to determine what I think about this. There are four products overall, but I'm just going to talk about two of them here in this post. The next two will follow in a separate post.

The Clio Nudism Water Grip Brightener and the Clio Virgin Kiss Silkuid Lip.

Starting off with the brightener, this is part of Clio's Nudism makeup line that's all about a "my skin but better" kind of concept. There are about five products in the range: The Moist Fit Powder Pact, the Water Grip Cushion, and the Essence Pact (?) I think, and the Water Grip Brightener. I got this from BeautyMNL for about Php 920 but you can also find this at Clio boutiques at some SM branches if you're from the Philippines. There are three shades in total for this particular brightener: pink, beige, and peach.…
